A Little on Ransome & Marles
The Ransome & Marles Bearing company started manufacturing in 1915 and became one of the leading manufacturers of bearings in the world. They remained as a respected leader in the market until foreign competition and Government policy forced a change. In 1969 Ransome & Marles amalgamated with The Hoffmann Bearing Co and Pollard Bearings to form RHP. In 1990 NSK joined forces with RHP to form the company we know today NSK-RHP ltd.
Back in those days Ransome & Marles, commonly known as R&M, were the major supplier to many essential industries throughout the world.
Some of those early machines are still working today, or awaiting repairs, so the demand for these specials which were unique to R&M still exists. Many of these discontinued lines are available at Henderson Bearings.
Since the company was established in 1949 Henderson Bearings have built up a most comprehensive library of catalogues and information covering many of the most unusual R&M bearings.

Collection
