Cast iron RHP pillow block units are supplied with a sealed bearing and grease nipple for re lubrication, the inserts are also available separately please see the bottom of this page.

Eccentric Collar Lock
This type of lock consists of an eccentric diameter formed on the extended inner ring of the bearing which engages a similarly formed eccentric diameter in the bore of a separate collar. Locking is achieved by turning the collar in the direction of the shaft rotation until the eccentric diameters of both collar and inner ring are fully engaged. The collar is provided with a blind hole to facilitate tightening when locking the bearing to the shaft.
Single Lip Seal
The S-type seal, which is firmly secured in the bearing outer ring, comprises a nitrile rubber sealing element (black in colour) bonded to a strong steel former. The flexible sealing lip contacts the fine ground finish of the inner ring to give low friction with effective sealing.

Collection
